Sequim Pre-Three is a nonprofit program for parents and children age 10 months -3 ½ years. Sequim Pre-Three is affiliated with the Peninsula College Family Life Education department. Space is rented from the Sequim Worship Center (next to the library) 640 N. Sequim Avenue in Sequim. However, Sequim Pre-Three is not an associated church school program. The classes run from September through May/June. Currently classes are offered once a week, which will be held on Fridays for multiple ages. In the future we will be offering classes for various age groups, which as mentioned above will range from 10 months -31/2.

An experienced early childhood education teacher provides a fun developmentally appropriate curriculum for the children with various activities to encourage exploration and brain development. The daily schedule includes circle/song activities, free choice time with art, sensory, play activities, snack, and gross motor play outside most days as weather permits. The general philosophy is to provide a safe, child-centered environment where children and parents can grow and learn together.
Parents/guardians attend weekly with their children and participate in many activities. Parent's are enrolled in a Parenting Education class through Peninsula College and earn credits for their participation in the program. Each week, parents rotate turns as teacher's assistants helping with supervising activities, clean up or bringing a snack. During the free choice activity time, the parents that are not scheduled to help with the children that day meet in a parent discussion group with a parent education instructor from Peninsula CollegeVarious parenting topics are covered during these discussions and at other parent meetings providing parent support as well as research based information.

Tuition is $75 per quarter (Fall through Spring quarter) plus a $25 nonrefundable registration fee. Additional children are $50 per quarter with a $5 registration fee. Scholarships are available.
